Candle Instructions & Ingredients
Congratulations on now owning your BathCalm Candle!
With a burn time of 60+ hours, a BathCalm Luxury Candle isn’t just beautiful, it’s longer lasting and cost effective too.
Our candles use long lasting Ecococo wax. This is a 100% natural blend of predominantly coconut wax that’s an environmentally, vegan friendly alternative to other wax blends. It has improved burn and scent throw thanks to natural performance additives.
BathCalm uses fragrance oils, not essential oils in its candles. This is because essential oils can degrade when exposed to high temperatures. This leaves candles with little to no hot throw (scent when the candle is lit). Compensating by using a lot more essential oils can also mean a candle won’t stay lit, as well as being very expensive to make (and buy).
Also, some essential oil smells can change dramatically when heated. Subsequently, we’ve chosen fragrance oils for our candle range.
No animals are tested or animal products used in its manufacture. Equally important, there are no genetically modified ingredients, soy, palm, or paraffin products in Ecococo Wax.
It is also both biodegradable and vegan friendly, in line with BathCalm’s harm-free values.
We have included a sturdy white and gold branded candle box with your candle too. This truly adds a gorgeous touch of luxury!
Instructions for use
- Ensure you have a small pool of melted wax when you light the wick.
- Let the candle pool all the way across. This is especially important the first time you burn it. This prevents the candle from tunnelling. As well, and most importantly, the candle will burn evenly, all the way to the bottom of the jar.
- Re-light your candle on an angle to allow the flame to reach slowly across the wick.
- If your wick keeps going out, there may be a knot in the wood. Trim the burnt piece of wick.Â
- Store your candle in a cool, dry place below 25 degrees Celsius, and away from direct sunlight.
CAUTION:
Never move a lit candle. Always keep out of reach of children and pets. Place on a stable, heat resistant surface. Avoid exposure to drafts. Never leave a lit candle unattended.
Candle may become hot at the end of combustion. Some wax may remain in the container. Store in a cool, dry place below 25% and away from direct sunlight.
Failure to follow instructions could result in fire, hazard or injury.
